Are crypto gift cards instant? Yes, and here is the real delay

Close to it, and the remaining wait is the blockchain's rather than ours. Worth understanding, because "instant" means different things depending on which coin you pick.

What happens on our side

Nothing manual. The codes exist in inventory before you order. When your deposit confirms on-chain, the system claims one code from stock inside a database transaction, attaches it to your order, and publishes it to your order page. Elapsed time: milliseconds.

That is the structural difference between this and everything else we sell. A Claude subscription or a server involves a person doing something afterwards, which is why those take hours. A gift card does not.

What happens on the blockchain's side

This is the whole wait, and it is entirely determined by the coin you choose.

USDT or USDC on Tron: three-second blocks. Effectively a minute or two end to end. The fastest option on the site and the cheapest in fees.

Solana: sub-second blocks. Comparably fast.

Litecoin: 2.5-minute blocks, a few confirmations. Five to ten minutes.

Monero: two-minute blocks, ten confirmations. About twenty minutes, reliably.

Ethereum: twelve-second blocks, but gas can be several dollars — fast, and on a $25 card the fee is a meaningful share of the purchase.

Bitcoin: ten-minute blocks and a fee market. Twenty minutes if you paid a healthy fee on a quiet network; considerably longer if you underpaid or the mempool is busy. The slowest common choice.

So: which coin if you want it now

USDT on Tron. Cents in fees, a couple of minutes, no volatility between quote and payment because the amount is a dollar figure. If privacy matters more than speed, Monero at twenty minutes is the better trade.

The one thing that can delay it on our side

Running out of stock, which we prevent rather than manage. A card with no unclaimed codes left is withdrawn from sale — you cannot buy it, so you cannot be left waiting for one. If a brand reads "back soon", that is literal.

In the rare case where a payment confirms and something goes wrong issuing the code, your order page says so explicitly and we are alerted automatically. You are not left looking at a page that claims everything is fine.

Why "instant" is worth caring about

Because the alternative routes are not. Selling crypto on an exchange, waiting for a bank transfer and then buying a card takes days and creates a taxable disposal in most jurisdictions. Finding a peer-to-peer seller means trusting a stranger. A couple of minutes, with no account and no card, is the actual product here.
